Janzen Occupational Therapy Inc. offers Home Safety Assessments for older adults and persons with disabilities.
These assessments focus on:
- safety in the home
- mobility, cognition, visual skills
- safety with self-care and transfers, such as bathing, toileting and getting dressed
- activities of daily living, such as cooking, cleaning and doing laundry
- equipment needs and recommendations
- recommendations for modifications to the home to improve accessibility e.g. rails, ramps, bathrooms
JOT Inc. will work independently, or with a home care team to provide consistent and efficient service which prioritizes the needs and quality of life of the individual(s) involved.
